Technical editing project submission

4)The first challenge that I encountered as i edited the KB Journal article was in class we would be editing the document at the same time so we would have two separate documents that we had to figure out how to merge together.
5) I had questions about the authors use of a bolded Figure when he was inserting an image though he did not include captions. Also I did not know that after a quote at the very beginning of a chapter you should only have the authors name.
6)I did not know that you had to have a full sentence before using a colon for a block quote and I did not know that you are not supposed to put by: beside your name under the title because it is assumed that the person is the author.
7) I learned that Merriam Webster is the dictionary commonly used and the Chicago Manual of style is the source for information on proper formatting and writing conventions when editing.
8)I learned that there are multiple stages of editing where you look for certain errors each time, also that a style sheet is given to the author to help them to stop making common mistakes.
