This example of Information Design I chose to use for Project 1- Qualitative Issues, focuses around Creative Salaries in 2012 from Interaction Designers to Creative Directors whether working for a firm, agency, or in-house company. I selected this example because it does a great job with its use of lines, shaping, color, labeling, and a very fascinating interpretation of the given salaries. The topic I'm most interested in developing is the use of lines to determine the salary range within each job position and how the author uses shading and color to help explain this.
